Not firing yet but certainly warming up Hit the lake Sat morning, managed to pull half a dozen bream from the pontoons . Its been three months since caught a decent bream. A pity the peace and tranquillity was destroyed by the biggest rowing meet i have ever seen on the lake! It must be the start of the rowing season because there were newbies going against the traffic causing absolute chaos. First of the morning nice legal one 36cm had me tied in knots trying to keep him off the pontoon anchor chains. made a mess of my jighead too!

Nice work swamp, ill have to start doing some more pre-work bream hunts ( determined to crack 40cm this summer ) I prefer during the day when it is hot, the bream hide in the shadow of the pontoons . All you need to do is get a lightly weighted gulp in the shade and it will get smashed on the drop. If the fish heads away from the pontoon its an average fish trying to take its food away from its mates, if it goes straight back under it is more than likely a 35cm + fish and the tug of war begins! Cheers Swamp
