Well tonight's the night. I'll be spending an evening in front of the keyboard getting everything organised and we MAY see some form of functioning site up tomorrow. I wont be uploading the final site until it's finished but that will just be minor cosmetic changes that wont affect the new forum in any way. Only reason I wont be putting the home/DIY/Events etc pages up in their final form is I need to get onto Wapster first and see if he's made any progress with a logo for us. I'll just quickly repeat that again so no one (read Rob and Kirk) worries lol, the stuff that wont be put up in it's entirety to begin with is related to www.sakfa.net and wont have any effect on the bit we'll be using which is www.sakfa.net/forum (or maybe forum.sakfa.net, depends what I do but you get what I'm saying).

Not half as much as me lol, at this rate I'll be done by about 3pm tomorrow haha. vBulletin is up and running, now I've got to edit the images so they're kayaking related, make it say SAKFA, add a few features and then the bit I'm putting off.... Merging the old board with the new board *shudder*. I hope the cyber gods are in a good mood when I try that lol! Methinks it will be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole but cross your fingers just in case I pull it off!
Do us a favour and no one join up just yet, shouldn't matter if you do but I'd like to wait until I merge the old board.

Cheers, ended up throwing the gimp away and going back to good old photoshop, needless to say stress levels are now returning to normal. Still... to quote Vin Diesel "It's gonna be a long ass night".
Edit: Lol perhaps not that long. Off to bed for me, back to work in the morning. Doesn't look like much is done but you have no idea how much shite there is to wade through behind the scenes. They weren't kidding when they said they had huge amounts of options.

>_<
Moving the board over is proving to be rather difficult even with all the assistance of the great Mr Xiao (created the script I'm trying to run). Just got back from the supermarket with $20 worth of Red Bull so she'll be right, no need to leave room for another 24 hours now lol.

Getting a square peg in a round hole is easy.....just drill the hole out bigger ;D....lol. You Can Dewit . of course I did start to worry when you started talking about Gimps and stuff....after all, some of the other blokes on here play with dolls if you can believe that.. Cheers Mike
