Got it mate. That is the place where the toilets etc are. I launched from there awhile back and was in waist deep water when an idiot came by in a tinny full pelt and flipped me over. cost me a couple of fishing rods, camera, etc etc. Wish I could have gotten his number. What a day that was. Wind came up on us too and I got blown into the dredging barriers and had a hell of a time getting off. Caught 1 lonley ST which I sent back to its Mother. We will get together down there soon I hope. Buff has told me of another launch point which I want to try.

No problem . The next day that sea breeze says green arrows all day i might take the day off & head down . The wind can be a help down there , normally around 2-3 pm it shifts from the south pushing you home but you need to take the chance that it does shift otherwise it is a long paddle home!

Was hopeful of having my yak in the water this arvo; however, the Gods f'd me up. Cant get someone with a swaging tool until Monday. Will get her wet next week for sure. Let y'all know if I find anything. However, always remember that just becoz the Gator can't find some fish does not mean they are not there
